Research Training Programme

Our Research Programme offers bachelor and master's students in biotechnology and life sciences a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in stem cells, cancer, and tuberculosis over 4-6 months.

The first of its kind designed program to provide the genuinely interested candidates from undergraduate level to pre-PhD training after completion of post graduation with the real exposure to research work and how it is being done.

The training program is entirely hands-on based with a broad scope ranging from exposure to handling pure strains to clinical samples, directly interacting with patients, analyzing clinical cases, operating scientific instruments, manuscript analyzing and independent brain-storming; giving aspirants the ultimate opportunity to master the skills required for their future endeavors in the research world. There will be a range of lecture series during the program with eminent researchers from India and US (Thoreau Laboratory, MA, USA, our sister laboratory).

KaviKrishna Laboratory has primarily two research wings: Stem Cell and Infectious Diseases; Cancer & Stem cell Biology. Both the departments are based on the concept of 'altruism' in biological perspective, the novel concept as postulated by our eminent Senior Scientist, Director Dr. Bikul Das. The idea has been well accredited worldwide which has led to collaboration with renowned institutes such as IIT Guwahati, JNU, Harvard University, University of Massachusetts and we are in the process of spreading the view worldwide for developing new therapeutics.

Candidates can choose from either of the two training programs based on which they will undergo the specifically curated individual program tenures. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interview after screening of this form. The fee for the program will be as per the curated tenure program chosen by the selected candidate.
