In a significant milestone, the KaviKrishna Living Muga Museum took shape in the historic Tantipara of Sualkuchi in September 2019. This museum stands as a living testimony to the rich cultural heritage of muga silk, providing a space for the revival and celebration of this historic art form. The establishment of the museum marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts of KaviKrishna Muga to preserve and promote the indigenous muga culture that is deeply embedded in the fabric of Sualkuchi.

With an unwavering commitment to its vision, the KaviKrishna Muga team has taken tangible steps to support and uplift the local weaving community. The initiative has provided financial assistance to weavers, resulting in the creation of more than 40 impeccably crafted pure muga thaan, a testament to the harmonious collaboration between the weavers and the KTC patients.

KaviKrishna Muga, a distinctive branch under the KaviKrishna umbrella, is passionately dedicated to the revival of indigenous muga culture in the picturesque rural landscape of Sualkuchi, Kamrup, Assam. The initiative unfolds its vision through the Indigenous Kamrupian Information Network (IKIN), weaving together traditions, heritage, and community engagement. Specifically, KaviKrishna Muga endeavors to create a symbiotic relationship between cancer patients affiliated with KaviKrishna Telemedicine Care (KTC) and the skilled local weavers of Sualkuchi.
